Idokorro Mobile Admin Client Installation:

Mobile Admin is a client-server application.

After you have installed the Mobile Admin Server, you must install the Mobile Admin Client on your wireless handheld device:

BlackBerry | Palm | Nokia | Pocket PC or Smartphone

BlackBerry:

To install over-the-air:

If you have BlackBerry version 3.6 or higher, use the Internet browser application on your BlackBerry device to open this page: http://LIBREMOTE:80/

The Idokorro Mobile Admin Client Installation screen appears.

1. Record the displayed server settings:
   
   • Idokorro Server – the name of the network server where the Mobile Admin Server was installed
   • Mobile Admin port – the port number that the Mobile Admin Server will use to communicate with your handheld device
   • Connect using HTTPS – indicates whether a checkbox with the same name (Connect using HTTPS) must be checked or unchecked when you enter the server settings the first time you connect to the Mobile Admin Server
2. Click the link Install the Mobile Admin Client.
3. Click Download. A status bar shows the progress of the installation. When the installation is complete, a message appears and indicates that the installation was successful.
4. Click OK.

To install using the Desktop Manager:

1. Open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager application.
2. Open the Application Loader.
3. Follow the prompts in the Application Loader Wizard.
4. On the Handheld Application Selection screen, select Add...
5. Browse to the directory containing the Mobile Admin Client files: C:\Program Files\Idokorro Mobile\Mobile Admin\client.
6. Open the folder labeled Color if you have a color device; open the folder labeled BW if you have a black and white device.
7. Select the MobileAdmin.alx file and click Open.
8. Select the Idokorro Mobile Admin checkbox.
9. Click Next and complete the wizard.

Palm:

To install wirelessly:

Using the web browser on your Palm device, open this page: http://LIBREMOTE:80/

1. Record the displayed server settings:
• Idokorro Server – the name of the network server where the Mobile Admin Server was installed
• Mobile Admin port – the port number that the Mobile Admin Server will use to communicate with your handheld device
• Connect using HTTPS – indicates whether a checkbox with the same name (Connect using HTTPS) must be checked or unchecked when you enter the server settings the first time you connect to the Mobile Admin Server
2. Click the link Install the Mobile Admin Client.

To install from the desktop:

• Send the following PRC file to your Palm device using the Palm Install Tool, USB, or Bluetooth: C:\Program Files\Idokorro Mobile\Mobile Admin\client\palm\IdokorroMobileAdmin.prc

Nokia:

To install wirelessly:

• Using the web browser on your Nokia phone, open this page: http://LIBREMOTE:80/

To install from the desktop:

• Send the following files to your Nokia phone device using either Infrared, Bluetooth, or a Data Cable: C:\Program Files\Idokorro Mobile\Mobile Admin\client\j2me

Pocket PC or Smartphone:

To install wirelessly:

• Using the web browser on your Pocket PC or Smartphone, open this page: http://LIBREMOTE:80/

To install from the desktop:

1. Connect your device to your desktop using the USB or Serial connection.
2. On your desktop, run following install file: C:\Program Files\Idokorro Mobile\Mobile Admin\client\ppc\IdokorroMobileAdminPPC.exe
